SAFEPATH is a mobile application aimed at providing first aid and survival training videos while offline, along with finding cellular service and requesting emergency help while on a hike or any emergency situation. My role in the project was that of UX Designer in charge of leading the app and responsive website design from conception to completion. While designing this product a lot of thought went into what the most important tools for hikers are and what would be the fastest, most reliable way to access them in stressful situations. The solution implemented was having the tools our users seemed most excited about on the home screen with easy navigation and a warm background tone to help ease any tension and bring about a better user experience.
